Meegwun Fairbrother

Meegwun was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada. He completed high school in Kenora, Ontario before being accepted into the acting conservatory at York University in 2005. There he studied the acting craft and built upon his love of the art form. His first big break was on APTN's "Mohawk Girls" as Butterhead and then as Daniel Aerov in Syfy's virus show "Helix."

Meegwun's directorial debut were two full length documentaries about the BC Salmon numbers and Okichitaw Martial Arts. His first short film is called "Sweet Dreams" was released in 2020.

Meegwun can be seen as Officer Owen Beckbie in CBC's "Burden of Truth".
